First edition (presumed); oblong 12 x 10 1/2; pp. [46] recto only; brown wraps tied with decorative string; large photographic onlay of Mount Shasta to front cover; photographic images mounted on brown leaves including a large fold-out of Shasta Springs; some wear and chipping along edges of covers; loss of paper to spine; few very small spots to margin of front cover; internally bright and clean; overall very good. A beautiful California View Book displaying breathtaking images of the Shasta Route, including the Ferry Depot of San Francisco, the Sacramento River, Horseshoe Loop at 18th Crossing, Mount Hood, etc.
