Sobre este artículo

London: Hutchinson. [c.1922]. First cheap edition. First cheap edition. Original red cloth with black titles to the spine and upper board, in dustwrapper. Illustrated throughout in black and white by Maurice Greiffenhagen. A very good copy, the binding square and firm, the spine faded, the edges a little rubbed. The contents have a few faint spots to the text block edge, previous owner's inscriptions to the front pastedown and front free endpaper, and a small note adding a title to the list of the author's works on the reverse of the half title. Complete with the rubbed, nicked and creased original dustwrapper which has a few short closed tears to the edges, a longer closed tear to the rear flap fold, spotting to the the spine, and three pieces of tape to the underside. A novel drawing together two of Haggard's most popular characters, Ayesha from 'She' and Allan Quartermain from 'King Solomon's Mines'. Further details and images for any of the items listed are available on request. Lucius Books welcomes direct contact with our customers.
