A very good book with inscribee's neat name to the front endpaper - Binding still very good. Foxing on preliminary pages, scattered foxing in book. Edges foxed and browned. In a very good (or better) unclipped wrapper without fading to titles on spine - with some edgewear. Dust wrapper design by Paul Bacon. Inscribed on the title page: 'For Jacques Horringa/-Book man!/Best wishes from/me/James C/Sydney 27th Nov 75/'. The inscription is accompanied by a Japanese symbol. "Shogun" is a historical novel by James Clavell set in 17th-century Japan. It follows the adventures of John Blackthorne, an English navigator shipwrecked on Japan's shores.
