This is an early American edition of "Shooting an Elephant and Other Essays" by GEORGE ORWELL. Circa 1950's (there is no date of publication stated) 1st American edition, later printing; Harcourt, Brace and Company; New York. Condition:
Clean front cover and spine; light soiling to the back cover; sharp corners. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Some staining on pages 138-145, and at the bottom of 148 & 159; light foxing to the end papers. There are a few small, light stains at the long edge of the text block. Overall the book is in Very Good- condition.
