Sobre este artículo

London: The Roxburghe Club , Nichols & Sons , 1897. Very good condition hardcover book. This book includes a 32 page fascimile reproduction of the original edition of 1591. This is the edition that is referenced in the Schwerdt Catalogue listings. The book is tightly bound and square. The book pages are lightly age toned. The covers are clean ,but the leather is worn along the front edges of the book. This book has Andrew Lang's name printed as one of the members. The book has a bookplate inside the front cover of one Sir Robert Uniacke-Penrose - Fitzgerald. Sir Robert was the 1st baronet of Corkbeg and Lisquinian and was a British conservative politician. He was born 10 July 1839 and died 10 July 1919. Laid inside the rear cover (not attached) is a document which seems to be instructions for rebinding the book , but the book does not appear to have ever been rebound. This is a very collectible book and is hard to find period, but especially outside of the UK. Very well priced for the condition , edition and provenance. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.
