Publisher's original brown cloth, blind-stamped and lettered in gilt on the spine and front cover and with black-printed illustrations on the spine and front cover, lg 8vo. Translated from the French by W. P. Baines. Though this volume is entitled "Siam", the book is really about Pierre Loti's travels in Cambodia, especially to the ancient city-state of Angkor. Name stamp of Lt. Col. C. H. Errington on the front endpaper.
