New York: Philosophical Library, 1955. Hardcover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Dj has heavy edgewear with several tears (one taped), some soiling & rubbing. Book cocked. Pages are wavy along hinge. Top corner near spine of book is very lightly discolored, like it may have been damp. Book does not look pretty but is a good reading copy.

"The black Nureyev," this AIDS victim was a Puerto Rican dancer who played the lead role in Geoffrey Holder's 1967 "Prodigal Prince" and is best known as lead dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Bold signature in black fineline, heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., 1969 February 19. Near fine. With original envelope. Superb example.
