Of course it would be even better if you could come personally. So far the results are not so clear that they can be easily discussed in writing. The lye residue arrived yesterday. After lengthy deliberation regarding Privy Councilor Pl., I have gained conviction that if you were to write a few cordial, non-official lines they would find the same reception.
