1985. unbound. 8 x 10-inch black-and-white photo of Vander Meer being mobbed after pitching his second consecutive no-hitter -- a feat never accomplished by any other player in the history of Major League Baseball. No place, signed at a much later date, circa 1985. Handsomely mounted to a sturdy 12 x 15-inch plaque, captioned below the photo with the dates of his historic performances -- 6/11/38 and 6/15/38. Fine condition.<br/><br/> Professional baseball player who spent most of his 13-year career with the Cincinnati Reds.<br/><br/>
