'Sergeant Thorne of the Canadian Mounted Police and his dog, Silver Chief, trying to solve a murder mystery, discover a Russian conspiracy to smuggle valuable ore out of North America. With the aid of an FBI man they track the Russian agents to San Francisco and back again to Canada finally cornering them in Thorne's own territory.' Fourth title in the series. .
