Pages are mildly tanned with visible foxing. Heavy cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Pencil inscription to front endpaper. Heavy but small stain to p.15 and adjacent pages. Mild thumb-marking present. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and notable marking to boards. Notable sunning to front board and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Insect damage to front board. Moderate water stains to front board. Book has forward lean. Boards are notably warped.

Previous owner name and address ffep. No date on copyright page - only two previous titles by author listed are The Wednesday Pony and The Chestnut Filly. Pages show general wear, but overall clean and tight interior. There are 24 full-page b/w illustrations . 160 pages This is the story of young Jenny and her Shetland Pony friend, Tattles. a pony of her own, she loved them and every evening took apples and carrots to Tattles. One night Tattles said to her: "Through the dark corner and the password is Silver Snaffles". From there Jenny was introduced to Pony Paradise and learned to ride properly.
