Green cloth boards are bumped at corners and edges. Mark to front at upper edge, slight lean to spine. Date stamp to front pastedown. Pages are clean and unmarked throughout. AD. Hardcover. Good. Edinburgh: E. & S, Livingstone, Ltd., 1969 First edition in hardcover with dust jacket. This copy was in the library of Melville Kerr which is noted on the front endpaper by author Dr. J. Roger Maltby. There is another inscription dedicated To Melville from. I can't decipher the signature. 288 pp. Photographs, references, index. The book has a light spine lean and some crumpling to the bottom corner of the front board. The jacket has larger chips and tears. Good/Poor.
