Sobre este artículo
London: F. and C. Rivington, 1802. Disbound. Very Good. 7" by 4". None. A scarce work from an Anglican Bishop on the importance of maintaining the sabbath. An extremely scarce work in all editions, here present in the twenty-eighth edition from 1802. This pamphlet was initially published in the 1740s, and since saw numerous editions due to its frequent reprinting by the Society for the Promotion of Christian Knowledge.Edmund Gibson was a British divine, jurist and antiquary. Here he presents Biblical evidence for the importance of maintaining the sanctity of the Lord's Day, alongside remonstrations for the sinfulness of using profane language on this day especially. Disbound, as issued. Externally smart. Firmly bound. Marks to pages 14 and 15. Pages are otherwise bright and clean. Very Good
