Sobre este artículo

The first UK edition, first impression. In the orange variant of the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper. Blue and yellow variants were also produced, though there is no known priority. The novel follows the aloof and wealthy George Smith and his love for a Miss Thomson.Renata Adler described the work as 'a love story, a melodrama, an unresolved detective story, a melodrama, a soap opera, a vaudeville routine, and a very fine light novel by a stylist who can afford to give considerable rein to his rather quirkish imagination'. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, fine, with light spotting to fore edge of text block. Dust wrapper in excellent condition, with a touch of spotting to dust wrapper reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Fine
