Sobre este artículo
GILBERT, Nan. Sir Gruff. "A Fuzzy Wuzzy Book." Illustrated by Florence Sarah Winship. Racine, WI: Whitman Publishing Co, 1947. 8vo, [28]pp. Color pictorial boards with cloth flocking. Color pictorial endpapers; color illustrations on nearly every page, with cloth flocking on each picture of the dog, Sir Gruff. Top and bottom edges slightly rubbed, some offsetting to pages opposite the cloth flocking, else a clean, bright copy in original color pictorial dust jacket (2" closed tear at top of rear panel, some wear to at corners and spine panel ends).
Early printing, possible first edition, having no date or printing information. Sir Gruff is Petie's rough-coated dog, who enjoys nothing more than bringing treasures home to his small master. But one day Sir Gruff arrives home with a shiny new red and yellow sled and Petie is faced with a problem. A wonderful interactive picture book with cloth flocked illustrations. One of the "Fuzzy Wuzzy" books to that featured these textured pictures. Scarce in such nice condition.
