Hard cover, approximately 9 1/4 by 13 inches, 240 pages, color plate at front, black an white illustrations throughout. On Spine: 1837-1897. Undated, but probably a little later than 1897. Antiquarian book - Reading/Reference copy. Cover - Blue cloth cover heavily faded on front and spine, heavy wear at corners and cover edges, spine head and foot tear/wear, tear front upper left which appears to have been glued. Interior - some toning and foxing mostly first few pages, no handwriting, no interior tears, no markings. Complete, intact, a reading/reference copy versus one that is collectable.
