Small stains on a few pages, otherwise pages good condition. Foredges marbled. Previous owner's name and date (1824) on top of ffep. Endpapers marbled in green tones. Tan leather nicely rebacked. Spine tan leather with black label, raised leather and gilt bands with intricate gilt decorations and gilt title. Leather boards bordered with detailed decorative design. Boards show wear, few scratches and marks. VG. 1st Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good.
