Moonbeam, Ontario: Penumbra, 1986. 60 pp, 9 5/8" H x 8 7/8" D. Inscribed by translator on title page: "Best regards / to Beatrice Bennett / Naomi Jackson Groves / 22..XI.86". Colour and b&w drawings. "Five hundred years ago a small Eskimo community in North Greenland was stricken by catastrophe: six women and two children died in an accident. They were laid to rest in two graves under an overhanging cliff close to their dwelling-place. The discovery of the graves, the look of the buried people and their clothing, the way the little Inuit community used to live, have been described in words and drawings by Jens Rosing."
