New York: Harcourt, Brace, and Company, 1922. 8vo, viii, 75 pp. Original burnt orange cloth with small ticket of Gotham Book Mart at the foot of the rear pastedown. Slight fading to the backstrip and lower cover, top of text block a little dusty, binding tight, pages clean, very good. No dust-jacket. § First edition, first issue with 75 pages only. The collection dates from Sandburg's incredibly productive years in Elmhurst, Illinois and includes his great poem on Chicago, "The Windy City". Sandburg won three Pulitzer's for his writings.
