This is the FIRST EDITION in the current format, with charming mid-century illustrations throughout by Hilda Frommholz. Book #2087 in Whtiman's "Cozy Corner" collection (same size as Little Golden Books), this hardcover has pink paper-over-boards decorated with pictures of children in their PJs. Condition is VG+ : extremely clean, stitched binding straight & secure, pages off-white with modest, age-appropriate tanning to edges, else unmarked.
