Red cloth with lavish gilt reproducing a great antiquated historical binding. Gilded page edges- gilding at one corner rubbed. Have volumes 1, 2, 10 and 12 of the set. Corners of binding are rubbed a little. Slight foxing on endpages only. Very good condition..
