FOURTH EDITION 1946, dated on verso front endpaper, first published 1941, LACKING DUSTWRAPPER, small 8vo, 175 x 120 mm, 7 x 4½ inches, 24 delightful full page colour plates, 24 unpaginated pages of text plus 2 page catalogue of other series, small text illustration to each page of text, story of 2 little kittens, original publisher's smooth buff boards with mounted colour plate, and black lettering to upper cover and spine, pictorial endpapers, different front and rear. Spine faded to light grey, lettering bright, tiny bump to head and tail of spine, no inscriptions, minute light stain to lower edge of 1 text page, otherwise contents clean and bright, 2 inner joints cracked but binding tight and firm.
