A very good minus 1935 magazine, the first to incorporate the magazine formerly known as Scottish Country Life in slightly rubbed/creased/edge-worn colourfully illustrated paper covers (art by Cuthill), the spine is lightly creased and bumped to the ends with a 2" loss and separation at the heel, no writing or stamps, clean pages. Sponsored by the Scottish Motor Traction Co., Ltd it focused on Scotland with an emphasis on motoring (advertising motor tours throughout the country). Including contributions by E. V. Lucas ("The 'Aberdeen'") and Beverley Nichols ("Three Scots"),it is packed with adverts for cars, buses and associated products and was an upmarket publication.
