Now ill and hospitalized, Lisa summons Snoopy by mail. Their reunion is sweet and Lisa begs his return, and Snoopy finds it the right thing to do. Charlie Brown, Woodstock, and the Peanuts gang respect Snoopy's decision but are devasted. As fate would have it, Lisa, now discharged from the hospital, lives in a building that does not permit dogs ... moral and ethical conflicts evaporate and Lisa cradles a cat in her arms.
