Written by Koizumi Yakumo, born Patrick Lafcadio Hearn, a Greek-Japanese writer, translator, and teacher who introduced the culture of literature of Japan to the West. His writings offered unprecedented insight into Japanese culture, especially his collections of legends and ghost stories. In the original pictorial blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
