Light rubbing to spine ends, edges. Small tear to foot of inner hinge. Hinges slightly cracked on p. 8, and p. 40. Some tearing along rear inner hinge. Volume II: vi, [2], 59 p.p., [3]. Frontispiece. Light wear to spine head, sporadic scratches and light smudges to covers. Both volumes illustrated throughout with photographs of manufacturing companies and industries throughout New England, such as Amoskeag Manufacturing Company, Naumkeag Steam Cotton Co., Ipswich and Lancaster Mills, American Woolen Company, and special chapter on Alexander Graham Bell and the Birthplace of the Telephone. In very good condition with interesting local historical anecdotes and genealogical content.
