Affectionately inscribed by Amiri Baraka to the poet Janine Pommy Vega and dated on the opening flyleaf. Once upon a time, Baraka came to an upper New York State prison to work with Janine Pommy Vega. Cover art by Emory Douglas. A very strong association copy. Very close to fine and bright stapled wraps
