Berlin: Erich Reiss, 1918. First edition. Half-Leather. Very Good. 4° (Quarto), pp. 119 mit 12 handcolorierten Abbildungen von Erich Stern. Teils unaufgeschnittenes Maschinenbüttenpapier. Auf 620 (550 + 70 auf hangeschöpftem Büttenpapier) Exemplare limitierte Auflage (Nr. 72). Einband minimal berieben, ersten 2 Blätter eingerissen, sonst ausgezeichnetes Exemplar.. Aus dem Privatbesitz von Lotte Jacobi-Reiss (Witwe des Verlegers). Trotz lfd. Nr. 72 von Ernst Stern handsigniert. Erich Reiss wurde von den Nazis im KZ eingesperrt, wurde aber auf drängen eines befreundeten Schriftstellers freigelassen unter der Auflage die Stadt binnen weniger Stunden zu verlassen. Dies ist eines der wenigen Bücher, die Reiss vor der Bücherverbrennung retten konnte.
