Seven verses and a chorus, in part: "Attend ye 'Bugs' and 'Corkers,' to a fact I will relate, I'll tell you how we passed the 'Yellow Hickory' of late, The streets were very muddy, and the fire it was Nor'West, We rolled the 'Raven' out and each resolved to do his best...." Typographic ornamental border. 9.5" x 5.75". Minor chips from top edge. Sealed in archival mylar. [Wolf, American Song Sheets,122.] This song refers to the Philadelphia fire-company riots of the 19th century, which led the City Council to eliminate the volunteer fire-company system.
