London: Methuen, 1927. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Words by A.A. Milne; Music by H. Fraser-Simson; and decorations by E.H. Shepard. Publishers original chocolate-brown boards with an ochre binding strip for the spine. Cream-coloured paper label to the front board lettered in dark blue showing Christopher Robin walking along carrying a fishing rod. Offsetting to both sets of end-papers and an attractive "This Music Belongs To" Label affixed to the front free end-paper overall a VG+ copy. The sea-green D/W is priced seven and sixpence net to the front cover as called for. The VG+ D/W is complete with no wear, tears or pieces missing and is foxed and darkened to the spine and to the bottom inch or so of the front panel. . Rare in this condition.
