Volume, measuring approximately 5.75" x 9.75", is bound in quarter black cloth and light blue paper-covered boards, with stamped silver lettering to spine. Book displays very light shelfwear. The Sonnets to Orpheus are a collection of 55 sonnets written in 1922 by the poet Rainer Maria Rilke (1875–1926). The work is based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, and is considered one of his masterpieces.
