Sobre este artículo
Chicago: A.C. McClurg & Co., 1906. Marah Ryan (1860?-1934) became an expert/activist after living among the Hopi Indians. This, however, is a romantic novel of old California (certainly a genre in itself). This is a Very Good copy of the First Edition. Tan cloth binding with a striking illustration and titling on the front cover in black, white, and red. Titling on the spine includes a Mission bell. Clean text; 378 pages, fore and bottom rough-cut. "With many illustrations from photographs taken expressly for this book by Harold A. Taylor. Decorative designs by Ralph Fletcher Seymour." (Frontis illustration and 18 others within.) The endpapers are decorative, and all pages have decorative ruling. Really a rather nice production. Bumped corners, light rubbing to head and foot of the spine; the spine is darkened, but all titling is perfectly visible.. First Edition. Decorative Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Harold A. Taylor & Ralph Fletcher Seymour. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
