Broadside, 8vo (9.5" x 8"), employing different fonts and type sizes, a portion of the text printed vertically along the left margin. OCLC currently locates a single copy at the Library Company of Philadelphia.

Slight edge wear, browned, otherwise very good.

"In severe and painful cases of rheumatism and neuralgia, headaches included, this medicine may be taken every 3 or 4 hours until relieved. ... This preparation, since its introduction to the public in 1875, has gained such a reputation that it requires no advertising …"

George W. Aimar established his pharmacy in 1852. During the Civil War the facility served as an official dispensary for the Confederate States of America and the upper floors were used as a hospital. Ceasing business in 1978, the pharmacy was operated by the Aimar family for 126 years.
