To this end each country section has a collection of documents, major speeches and other writings from the relevant country introduced by a specialist in that country's affairs. 608 pages with a glossary and an index. Weight: 1.4kg Post free within Malaysia but will incur additional postage charges when posted elsewhere. The dust jacket has browned with age and has a few rubbing at the edges. There is a previous owner's name written neatly on the inside front cover. The end papers have shadows from the dust jacket flaps and some spotting. Otherwise the binding is tight, the text is clear and there is minimal tanning throughout.

The Penang Bookshelf was set up in mid 2010 principally to introduce Malaysian residents to the variety of books there is available about the country both past and present. We only stock fiction and non-fiction related to Malaysia and the rest of Asia. Much of our current stock of over a thousand different titles is not available in Malaysia. Conversely much of our stock published in Malaysia is difficult to find outside the country. So if there\'s something Malaysia related that you\'re looking for, do please contact us and we\'ll do our best to help. At present details of most of our stock is not on line; we hope it will be eventually!
