1. New York: Fords, Howard, & Hulbert. 1886 on the title page. First Edition. Tiny scarce paper booksellers stamp, inside front board, circa 1900, ""Stoll & Thayer Booksellers & Stationers, 47 So. Spring St., Los Angeles"". 233 pages + 6 pages of ads. Lovely book with beveled edges, green cloth with gilt lettering on the spine, and black title and grape cluster illustration on the front cover. Front cover cloth has a horizontal wrinkle below title. No writing, tears, or stains. Binding and hinges intact. Pages clean and tight. Light rubbing at extremities with 1/8"" dot of cloth loss to one corner tip.
