Sobre este artículo

Las Vegas, Nevada: KC Publications, Inc., 1997. SIGNED on the title page by the photographer, Bruce Hucko, and by the publisher, K. C. DenDooven (their signatures only, NOT personalized to anyone). New and unread in near PERFECT condition (only a tiny bit of very mild shelfwear -- like you sometimes find in any new book store). Bright and shiny. Flat, uncreased spine. NO chips, tears, creases or fading. Square and tight. NO owner's name or bookplate. NOT a remainder. Pages are fresh, crisp, clean and unmarked - obviously never read. Lavishly illustrated in beautiful full color. This is an revised and updated HARDCOVER edition that combines three softcover books first published in the 1960s. It has been "extensively revised with new photographs and illustrations, as well as many text additions" by Mark Bahti. From the publisher: "Come to know painting, silverwork, turquoise, beadwork, pottery, baskets, Navajo sandpainting, fetishes, Hopi katsinas, and Navajo rugs. Become familiar with 39 Southwestern Indian cultures histories, governments, and separate fascinating celebrations. Native ceremonies are still performed by the Indians of the Southwest and is a tribute to their way of life and the strength of their religious beliefs." Bound in the original pictorial laminated boards. Oversize Hardcover. 9.25" wide by 12.25" tall. This large book may require extra postage for International shipments, but only the standard charge for priority or media mail.. First Hardcover Edition, REVISED. Oversize Hardcover. New. Illus. by Hucko, Bruce (signed by). (viii), 215pp. Great Packaging, Fast Shipping.

Sobre About Books

About Books (Genny and Michael Winne, proprietors, formerly of Parsippany, New Jersey) has been selling rare and OP books since 1985. Besides book fairs and mail-order catalogues, long-time collectors and dealers will remember our lengthy For Sale ads in the Antiquarian Bookman and similar magazines. Our inventory of over 40,000 volumes is especially strong in the specialties listed, but contains fine books in a variety of other fields as well. Because most of our books are stored in protective boxes, rather than on shelves, they cannot be viewed as a whole. If you wish to visit us to examine specific titles, please provide 24 hours notice and we will make them available for your inspection. Phone calls to (702) 750-2722 are welcome, but please, only between the hours of 8am and 10pm (west coast time).
