Sobre este artículo
Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, 1967. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Good, not far from VG. 'The Space Eagle- Operation Doomsday', by one Jack Pearl. Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company 1967. Also, copyright and publishing tips- of-the-hat on the CR page to Space Eagle, Inc. and Western Publishing Company, Inc. - and, a bit of authorship-sharing with Raymond J. Meurer - and, a developed-by notation for Meurer-Preston-Austin, Inc. A lot of folks involved, it appears. Illustrated by Arnie Kohn. Barely Octavo (7 3/4"), illustrated boards with no jacket (as issued), illustrated endpapers by Mr. Kohn, 214 pp. (212 + 2). Good; short of VG because of notable peripheral wear (see scans). Binding is still easily stout enough for reading, however. Noticeable age-toning to the interior pages, which were of inexpensive paper. This is a classic youth/young adult space opera adventure, the kind I used to love back in the years of reading Winston sci-fi adventures, if you remember those. This piece is just single-digit years newer than those. A wall-to-wall form of form of Americana-science fiction. Ships in strong protection, of course. LG8
