Limited to 600 copies, of which this is number 8. From the limitation page" "Nos. 1 to 40 (in two volumes) inclusive are printed upon Whatman Paper, and accompanied by an Extra Set of Proof Etchings and Photogravures, printed upon Satin, and Mounted." The other 540 copies are in one volume only, due to their thinner Vellum Paper, without the extra illustrations. This with 13 Japan proofs, 11 etchings, and 8 photogravures, as called for by the List of Illustrations; 42 additional plates, and one additional title page, for Jenning's Landscape Annual, Or, Tourist in Spain for 1837, Biscay and the Castile's. Three-quarter morocco over marbled boards; raised bands with decorations in compartments and beveled edges. All edges gilt. Near Fine binding.
