Geoffrey Parker has found and analysed a huge quantity of previously unstudied material in the great archives of Spain and the Netherlands, and this information has dramatically been complimented and augmented by the discoveries from the Armada wrecks, three of which have been excavated by Colin Martin. Complimented with over 50 colour and 100 black and white illustrations. This book was one of six copies won as a prize for the Dorset Evening Echo's 400th anniversary of the Spanish Armada's ill-fated attempt to invade England. In a small plastic bag are news paper cuttings of the win, along with a congratulations letter from the ' Teenscene editor'. the bag has caused light staining on the ffep and half-title page, there is also light wear to the lower rear corner..There are the signatures of both authors on the title page.A good tight copy.
