Green cloth hardcover with gilt lettering and small decoration to spine; stamped decorations to boards; no jacket; 471 pages; no date--ca 1875. Good minus condition: wear to spine tips and corners of binding with some loss of cloth; scuffing to boards; a few tiny holes in spine; straight; hinges holding well but not perfect; ownership inscriptions to front endpapers; front endpapers toned; pages are pretty nice. Wikipedia: "John Philpot Curran (24 July 1750 - 14 October 1817) was an Irish orator, politician, wit, and lawyer renowned for employing his skills in defence of civil and political liberty.".
