Sobre este artículo
London: Cambridge University Press, 1967. First edition of Lewis' longest piece of literary criticism, posthumously compiled by Alastair Fowler. Octavo, original cloth. Near fine in a near fine price-clipped dust jacket. Jacket design by Will Carter. Spenser was C.S. Lewis' favorite author, but though he referred to The Faire Queene constantly in his criticism he never devoted a whole book to it. He gave a popular course of undergraduate lectures on Spenser at Cambridge, meaning to turn them into a book. At his death, only notes for this survived, and with great skill, Dr. Alastair Fowler has reconstructed them into the present piece of literary criticism.
