Ownership signature of prominent New York business man Henry J. Hoguet, near fine, without the dustwrapper. Written alongside von Harbou's original screenplay for, and issued to coincide with, the release of the film directed by von Harbou's husband, Fritz Lang, the immediate follow-up to his masterpiece *Metropolis*. In theme and tone this film is more closely linked to Lang's Dr. Mabuse series.
