1939. Original wraps. Very good. 4to., unpaginated, black paper wrappers lettered and decorated in gilt. Advertisements at the rear mainly relate to the town of Nevada. Illustrated with pasted in photographs (A small tipped in photograph of the school building prior to the text. -- a few of the tipped in photographs (I counted 5) are missing. -- Overall Condition. "The former Milford school building is now a private residence near Nevada Iowa. Originally constructed as the Milford Township School in 1923, the structure was built by local men using local brick. Over 40 years, hundreds of children from nearby farms were educated at the Milford building from kindergarten through the 12th grade".-ames tribune.
