The binding is firm and the pages remain clean and free of foxing. A prior ower's name and address appear on the front interior cover. Inscribed by Parris in black marker on the front free endpaper: "To D__ McFee - With best wishes - John Parris, Sylva, N.C., Dec. 1, 1978.
