PLEASE NOTE this is not a complete set, and one volume is missing. I'm not sure which one, but all present volumes are clearly shown in the photos. All but eight volumes have just been removed from their original shrinkwrap and are unread. Glossy illustrated paper covered boards with varying degrees of minor edgewear and bumped spine ends and corners. Some boards have small dents and scuffs, and/or tiny tears at spine ends. Most bindings sound (a few are somewhat shaken), text clean. Interiors lightly toned. Color plates. Ribbon bookmarker to each. No previous owner names, stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. EXTRA POSTAGE WILL BE REQUIRED. No international shipping.
Sinopsis
The Bhāgavata Purāṇa (also known as Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, or Bhāgavata) is one of the "Maha" Puranic texts of Hindu literature, with its primary focus on bhakti (devotion) to the incarnations of Vishnu, particularly Krishna. The Sanskrit text comprises twelve skandas (cantos or books) and 13,216 verses by one count. The Bhāgavata includes many stories well known in Hindu tradition, including the various avatars of Vishnu and the life of Krishna.
