Cover: blue cloth on boards with gilt titles; mild soiling, rubbing and vertical thin surface puckering to front boards fore-edge. Spine: thin bumping and thin wear to head & foot. Edges: top-edge once blue now faded to a dark blue/brown, small soiling; fore and bottom edge with age yellowing and lght few only foxing. Small wear to fore corners. Frontis: from a private portrait painted around 1840 is General Baron Gourgaud. Clean content; soft thin yellowing to margins. B/w illustrations. Binding is As New. 360p. First Edition. Hb. VG/None.
