The plot concerns the adventures of the dashing Capitaine Jacques St. Ives, a Napoleonic soldier, after his capture by the British. n a grey cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, though with some slight rubbing and bumping. Internally, generally firmly bound, though slightly strained in places. Blindstamp to recto of front free-endpaper. Pages are bright, though with the occasional spot. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
