Very rare in original parts. 12mo; 7 3/4 x 4 1/2 inches; 519pp + indices etc. John Ruskin (February 8, 1819 - January 20, 1900) is best known for his work as an art critic and social critic, but is remembered as an author, poet and artist as well. Ruskin's essays on art and architecture were extremely influential in the Victorian and Edwardian eras.
