Volume 26, Part 1 of the children's magazine ST. NICHOLAS containing the monthly issues from November 1898 through April 1899. Filled with stories, poems, and educational articles, with lots of beautiful black and white vintage illustrations. This volume features poems by Albert Bigelow Paine ("Cupid and Santa Claus") and Tudor Jenks ("The Don's Boots") and a story by journalist Poultney Bigelow called "Lost in Russia.
