Pages clean and bright white (no foxing) and unmarked except for a crayon name on front free endpaper. One of the eight Barnes All-Star Library books (DiMaggio, Kiner, Williams, Musial, Berra, Blackwell, Lemon and Pafko) and one of the more scarce editions in the series. This short biography was published in 1951 and outlines the highlights of Musial's career as he completed the1950 season with a lifetime batting average of .346 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Musial's career statistics shown on front and back endpapers and pastedowns.
